Home & Hospice Care of RI

New England Construction was hired to build the new Home & Hospice Care center for Rhode Island. Construction on this project included the renovation of an existing 4-story building, which included all interior demolition and all new partitioning and finished work to 24 new Hospice Care units, full administration facilities, food services, a library, a chapel, and multiple family resource areas. Exterior work consisted of providing a new building façade, a new canopy entrance, parking lot and various landscaping elements. This building has received LEED GOLD certification, making it the first LEED certified Health Care Facility in the state and only the second LEED GOLD building in Rhode Island. The project was completed in May 2009.
