1. What was your very first job?
After graduating from RWU, my 1st job was with Gilbane at Newport Hospital. I found it rewarding, exciting and an opportunity to learn.
2. What’s your favorite weekend activity?
Spending time with my family and bike riding.
3. If you we’re moving to a deserted island and had to choose three things to take, what would they be?
Many cases of rum, a fishing pole and matches.
4. If you had to choose, what’s one of your favorite job responsibilities? Why?
There are many aspects of my job I enjoy. However I find problem solving the most rewarding. I enjoy finding new approaches to issues that may arise during a project. I try to always remember that every job will have its own unique challenges but that there is a solution to every problem. I find it rewarding when I can find a solution to a problem that is beneficial to the client and company.
5.What’s one of your favorite past projects you’ve worked on at NEC?
All my projects have been very enjoyable. Starting from the YMCA in Barrington and South Kingstown to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Pawtucket. And now at RI Mall.
I like that I have the opportunity to work on all types of projects from retail to non-profits. However, I am partial to jobs that challenge me.
6. If you had to give one piece of advice on happiness, what would it be?
Live life to the fullest and never look back. Enjoy every minute with your family before it's gone.
