New England Construction successfully partnered with WS Development to renovate an existing shopping plaza in Hyannis, MA. The project involved comprehensive upgrades, including parking lot repaving, site improvements, and façade renovations, along with enabling work to accommodate new tenants. Executed in two phases, the renovation was carefully planned to ensure all tenants remained open and operational throughout construction.
New England Construction served as the Construction Manager for the Phase II expansion of Garden City Center, a 500,000-square-foot open-air retail destination. This project included extensive site and infrastructure enhancements to modernize the existing retail space, featuring upgraded utility services, improved parking areas, and enhanced roadways and pedestrian pathways. The redevelopment also involved comprehensive core and shell renovations, the addition of a new loading dock, and upgraded utility infrastructure to accommodate multiple tenants, including LA Fitness. Further tenant improvements were made for Corner Bakery, Sephora, and The Container Store, incorporating new façades, MEP and fire protection system upgrades, and enhanced accessibility features.
The New England Construction team is currently constructing the Clinton Development consisting of 5 different free standing retail, fast casual restaurant and fueling station buildings. This project is divided into individual parcels dedicated to each tenant with the landlord delivering full shell buildings and site work. NEC has also been selected by several tenants to perform fit outs once the shell construction has been completed.
WS Development enlisted New England Construction to perform the re-demise of a tenant space in their shopping plaza in Canton, CT. The project included demolition of the previous tenant floorplan and installation of a new demising wall creating the suite into two separate spaces in preparation for new tenant fit outs. The scope also included improvements to the building facade, creating separated store fronts for each new tenant.
