The project involved comprehensive upgrades, including parking lot repaving, site improvements, and façade renovations, along with enabling work to accommodate new tenants. Executed in two phases, the renovation was carefully planned to ensure all tenants remained open and operational throughout construction.
New England Construction has performed services for several Starbucks landlords, completing various shell building projects throughout New England. Each site includes the ground up construction of the future Starbucks along with the site work creating the drivethru.
New England Construction served as the Construction Manager for the Phase II expansion of Garden City Center, a 500,000-square-foot open-air retail destination. This project included extensive site and infrastructure enhancements to modernize the existing retail space, featuring upgraded utility services, improved parking areas, and enhanced roadways and pedestrian pathways. The redevelopment also involved comprehensive core and shell renovations, the addition of a new loading dock, and upgraded utility infrastructure to accommodate multiple tenants, including LA Fitness. Further tenant improvements were made for Corner Bakery, Sephora, and The Container Store, incorporating new façades, MEP and fire protection system upgrades, and enhanced accessibility features.
Our team partnered with Primrose School to complete the interior renovation of the location in Tewksbury, MA. This project consisted of the conversion of a former childcare to the Primrose School 10,000 square foot child care and education center. The interior of this location included classrooms catering to various age groups and reception areas. This project also included creating an outdoor play area.
New England Construction has been a preferred partner for Burlington Stores and their landlords for several years, having completed multiple fits outs of the Burlington Stores program. Each fit out includes detailed work in the front and back of house with finishes, MEPs and exterior improvements from top to bottom. Each Burlington Store requires adaptation and careful consideration of the site requirements as they relate to the store prototype.
