Enhancements to safety and functionality such as new biosafety cabinets, fume hoods, hands-free lab sinks, and improved ventilation and utility services are executed with careful coordination across all building systems. With a focus on precision, collaboration, and minimizing disruption within an active campus setting, NEC’s approach ensured a streamlined renovation that delivers long-term value, operational efficiency, and a research-ready space.
Boston University Pergande Lab
The Boston University Pergande Lab Renovation transformed a portion of the Life Science and Engineering Building into a high-performance research environment designed to support advanced mass spectrometry, stem cell, and shared lab functions, balancing technical precision with flexibility for future growth. Working within an active academic facility, NEC delivered a carefully planned renovation that included selective demolition, new lab layouts, upgraded MEP infrastructure, specialized exhaust and utility systems, and integrated casework to support complex scientific equipment—all while maintaining safety, compliance, and continuity for adjacent spaces. The result is a modern, efficient lab setting that empowers researchers with adaptable work zones, robust building systems, and a clean, durable finish palette, reinforcing BU’s commitment to cutting-edge research and long-term operational excellence.

AAA Providence-RI
New England Construction completed comprehensive renovations at AAA’s headquarters in Providence, Rhode Island, delivering upgraded interior spaces that enhanced functionality, workflow, and the overall workplace experience. The project focused on the strategic renovation and reconfiguration of the accounting and human resources departments, as well as executive offices and prominent lobby areas, ensuring alignment with AAA’s operational needs and brand standards.
The scope of work included thoughtful space planning, updated finishes, and coordinated construction sequencing to allow for minimal disruption to ongoing operations. Proctor & Gamble - Cumberland, RI
New England Construction completed a comprehensive interior renovation for Procter & Gamble’s Rhode Island Sales Office, transforming the space into a modern, flexible workplace designed to support collaboration and productivity. The project included a full reconfiguration of the office layout with open work areas, huddle rooms, focus rooms, meeting spaces, and a town hall, all tailored to P&G’s operational and brand standards.
The scope featured selective demolition, new partitions, upgraded ceilings and lighting, integrated AV and IT infrastructure, and custom millwork, executed with careful coordination and attention to detail. The result is a refined, high-performance office environment that enhances functionality, supports team engagement, and positions the space for long-term use.
MGX-Mansfield, MA
New England Construction completed a targeted interior renovation within the MGX Warehouse facility in Mansfield, transforming approximately 7,400 square feet of existing office space to better support day-to-day operations and growth. The project reconfigured the layout to include open office areas, private offices, conference rooms, a boardroom, pantry, and support spaces, all seamlessly integrated within the existing warehouse environment
The scope included demolition, new partitions, upgraded ceilings and lighting, millwork installation, restroom renovations, and coordinated MEP, fire protection, and technology upgrades. Executed with careful attention to code compliance, accessibility, and operational continuity, the project delivered a modern, functional office environment aligned with MGX’s operational needs while maximizing the value of the existing facility.
