New England Construction is currently delivering the redevelopment of the JK Equities distribution center at 1 Moshassuck Street in Pawtucket, a 150,000-square-foot industrial facility designed to support modern warehouse and distribution operations. The project utilizes a precast concrete wall building system, providing enhanced durability, accelerated construction, and long-term performance while meeting the demands of high-volume logistics use.
The scope includes comprehensive site and utility improvements across multiple parcels, including grading, drainage, stormwater management, new utility connections, and traffic and access improvements. Through close coordination with local agencies and utility providers, the project is being executed with careful attention to site constraints and regulatory requirements, positioning the facility as a high-performing, future-ready industrial asset.
This project consisted of the ground-up construction of a new 13,125 SF office, showroom, and warehouse facility for E.J. Prescott in West Bridgewater, Massachusetts. The scope included full site development, foundations, slab-on-grade, and the complete erection of a pre-engineered metal building system, including structural steel framing, metal wall panels, roofing, and building envelope coordination. The project also integrated loading docks, overhead doors, and exterior metal cladding, along with interior buildout for office and showroom spaces, delivering a durable, efficient industrial facility designed to support both operational and customer-facing functions
This project involved the ground up construction of a new 27,500 sf metal building that included warehouse space produced to meet the unique needs of a snow removal company and an upper level designed as functional and showcase space for the Case Snow Management corporate headquarters. The warehouse area had to accommodate the unique machinery Case utilizes and also be adaptable to their workforce that grows exponentially during the winter season. The second level featured high end office work spaces, a gym/recreational space for the staff, and a higher capacity conference room. This project fused the functionality & ease of a metal building with the detailed higher end needs of Case’s corporate work space.
The PODS Aquatic Swimming Center in East Providence, Rhode Island is a 12,348-square-foot aquatic facility constructed as a pre-engineered metal building designed to house both a lap pool and a teaching pool, along with supporting locker rooms, mechanical spaces, offices, and public amenities. The steel building scope included the design, fabrication, and erection of the pre-engineered structural steel frame, roof system, and exterior wall support, providing the long-span, column-free spaces required over the pool areas while accommodating the high-humidity and corrosive conditions typical of a natatorium. The steel structure was carefully coordinated with concrete foundations and pool shells to deliver a durable, efficient enclosure that supports the architectural layout and the specialized mechanical and pool systems essential to the facility’s operation.
This project involved the new construction of an 8000 sf body shop for the Scott’s Volkswagen dealership in East Providence, RI. The Design/Build nature of this project allowed our team to be an integral part of addressing the unique space needs here. The interior of the body shop included six distinct auto repair bays, two paint prep areas, two paint booths, an office and a reception area. Scott’s Volkswagen required the managed balance of functional work space and high end branded office/client operations; a service our team provided successfully.
