New England Construction constructed a new space for PCHC that offers space for 14,000 more patients and created over 50 full-time, sustainable paying jobs for the city of Providence. The facility was built to host a wide range of medical services consisting of adult medicine, family medicine, ob/gyn, pediatrics, behavioral health, specialty care, express care, and lab services.

New England Construction was responsible for the renovation of an existing 4-story building, to include interior demolition, new partitioning and finished work for the construction of 24 new inpatient hospice care units, full administration facilities, a food service area, a library, a chapel, and multiple family resource areas-collectively totaling 48,000 square feet in size. Exterior work consisted of the construction of a new building facade, canopy entrance, parking lot and various landscaping elements. The project was awarded LEED Gold certification by the US Green Building Council, and was notably the first LEED accredited healthcare facility constructed in the State of Rhode Island.

New England Construction managed the construction of three separate projects in Cranston and North Providence, RI for the Imaging Institute. The first project was a new 6,000 square foot facility featuring all state-of-the-art medical and imaging resources. This was the only medical imaging center in the State of RI to offer Open MRI, CT Scan, X-Ray, Mammography and DEXA Bone Density services in one location. The second project was a build-out of more than 2,500 square feet of space including lobby, administrative space, patient care areas including Open MRI, X-Ray and CT Scan rooms. The third project was a 6,000 square foot interior renovation of existing space including lobby, administrative space and patient care areas offering Open MRI, X-Ray facilities and CT scan rooms.

The New England Construction team recently completed the 1480sqft renovation of the Taravista Behavioral Health Center Inpatient Unit. This project was completed in two separate phases while operations remained ongoing. The first phase consisted of waiting room finish and millwork updates completed in 1 week. Phase two consisted of the reconfiguration of communal space into two semi-private patient rooms, restrooms, a nourish area, quiet room, group room and consult room. This 11 week phase also consisted of reworking MEPs, finishes and millwork.

This 10,251 interior project consisted of the construction of private office spaces, open office area, storage space and community break room space. The NEC team managed the project from top to bottom to deliver a high quality office environment.

New England Construction constructed a high-end surgical training facility for MedCure, a non-transplant tissue bank focused on medical research and education. The new facility consisted of training and teaching rooms where surgeons can perform multiple, simultaneous procedures on cadavers. A sophisticated audio visual system enables procedures to be recorded and broadcasted over closed caption high definition monitors in the surgical suites. New England Construction delivered the entire fit-out of this state-of-the-art facility in just seven weeks to meet the client's occupancy requirements.
