Boston University-Multiple Projects

Boston University has been a valued repeat client, partnering with us on multiple laboratory science projects over time. Each renovation was thoughtfully planned to maintain the integrity of existing spaces while carefully adapting them to meet evolving research needs. Our team prioritized minimizing disruption and aligning closely with Boston University’s standards, ensuring every project respected the functionality, precision, and purpose essential to their academic and scientific environments.

Moses Brown School 

SquashBusters: New England Construction has partnered with Moses Brown School, SquashBusters & LLB Architects on the ground-up construction of a new 12 court squash facility on the Providence campus. This facility features usable space for the Moses Brown students to support their academic endeavors.

Y-Labs: NEC also partnered with Moses Brown School on the renovation of the former Alumni Hall into the new Y-Lab. This new facility will provide the students, faculty, administrators and more a unique educational space that Moses Brown says will offer opportunities for collaboration and creative problem-solving.

Bryant University-
Multiple Projects

Townhouse H,M,L Renovations: New England Construction was recently selected by Bryant University for the complete renovation of eighteen multi-bedroom townhouse units on campus. This “summer slammer” project was completed in just over three months, prior to students returning to campus for Fall semester.

Locker Rooms: New England Construction has partnered again with Bryant University on the 4,700 SF addition of a locker room area on the Chace Wellness Center. 

Residence Halls: New England Construction has partnered again with Bryant University on the renovation of five residence halls. The renovations included complete window replacements with installation of composite paneling around all windows, new floors within all suites, installation of new fire alarms, installation of new lighting fixtures, painting finishes, and scattered landscaping.

Brown University - Multiple Projects

Davol Square: New England Construction was selected by Brown University to complete a full exterior restoration of a historic building in the center of the City of Providence’s Jewelry District. The building remained fully occupied throughout construction, which required close coordination and communication with all tenants to keep them apprised of scheduled activities.

Marston Boathouse: We were selected to renovate the historic Hunter S. Marston Boathouse, the home of the men's and women's crew teams. A complete exterior "facelift" was provided at the waterside location, requiring close attention to effectively match existing finishes. NEC delivered the project on-time and on-budget under a tight summer schedule.

Sayles Hall: This project involved the renovation of 2,000 sf of office space in an occupied academic building in the middle of Brown University’s active campus while classes were in session. There was no dumpster available on the site, which presented a unique challenge.
